Be Thankful for 2012, Present in Today, and Ready to Give in 2013

The holidays are an exciting time of year!  I have enjoyed having the kids home on winter break and working on projects with them and my husband, Shawn.  Like most, our last few days of down time are centered around the end of one year and the beginning of another.

The time we have is so very precious.  This year the family is more aware of this than ever.  As part of our intentional life journey, we are starting a new tradition for New Year’s.  We will reflect by writing about our most cherished and challenging experiences of the past year in our journals.  Then we will revisit the importance of living in the moment.  And finally we will reaffirm our commitments for 2013. Life is Happening!

My readership numbers are modest and slowly growing.  Just as it should be.  😉

Because I appreciate and respect you taking the time to join me here on the blog, I felt as though I should take a moment to touch base.  Life has been busy these last few weeks which is why my posting has been limited.  Many commitments between family business and services to deliver has kept me occupied.  Not to make excuses!  I just wanted you to know I haven’t fallen off the face of the earth or forgotten about you or the blog.

The kids have been home from winter break and I have enjoyed spending some much needed time with them.  🙂  This week our family will begin to revisit our worksheets and make plans for the new year.  I hope yours will include the same in the coming weeks as I continue to present the various pieces of the worksheet to you.  2013 will be fantastic!  I truly hope that we can share our experiences on the blog and be present with one another.

I am also working on plans to improve the website so I can better serve you.  By year end, I’ll be back to writing in full force.  I couldn’t be more excited!

Wishing you the happiest of holidays!

Your friend,

Angie
