STOP WASTING TIME! One of the easiest ways to start living intentionally is by designing and sticking to an ideal week. This doesn’t mean that you plan out every moment of the day, but it does help you maintain balance in how your time is spent.
Have a tendency to spend too much time on one thing, only to find other priorities are falling to the way side? It happens! With an ideal week laid out, you can be disciplined about what things deserve your time. After all, time is our most important asset.
Your ideal week should include time allotments for everything that is important to you, including free time. Or as one of my favorite thought leaders call it “margin.” We all need free time to relax and regroup. If we plan to achieve our goals, we need time carved out of the day to work towards them. So, plan accordingly!
Take a look at Michael Hyatt’s take on the Ideal Week and how to include margin by clicking the link below. He has a great system. If it is too formal for you, adapt it so that it works for you. Just make sure your are intentional!
All my best,
